The Hon. Minister of Finance of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, in his Budget Speech for the year 2005, has proposed to set up an academy for the advance construction training, jointly with the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, (NCASL) to strengthen the industry requirements of competencies for the managerial and supervisory categories of the sector employment.
       ACTA is a Institution incorporated under the section 21 of the Companies Act No. 17 of 1982. ACTA is an institution under the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, managed by a Board of Directors, to fulfill the training needs of its membership.
